The Wethington Legacy

Elbert & Lois Wethington 70th.jpg

The vision and work of Dr. Elbert and Lois Wethington made possible the Obras de Wesley.

The Wethington’s long experience as missionaries, combined with Elbert’s years as a religion professor with a pastor’s heart, led them to see the great need for making John Wesley’s writings available in Spanish. Their tireless coordination and fundraising culminated in the Obras, but also laid the groundwork for the many present and future projects of the Foundation and the Instituto.
